Community Roles

I contribute to academic and professional communities by reviewing, serving in representative and supportive roles in research communities, and creating an open-access infrastructure for academics.

Strategizing Activities and Practices

AOM Interest Group

The AOM Strategizing Activities and Practices community focuses on strategy as something people in organizations do in everyday activities. From spring 2022 until mid-2024, I co-organized the virtual coffee sessions with Elisa Lehre. From 2024 on, I support the SAP Mentoring Program with Stefanie Habersang and Sarah Stahnke.

Practice and process research

Aarhus Practice and Process Community

The practice and process research group at Aarhus University, BSS, connects researchers across the university who are interested in practice and process theory. Alongside regular seminars, the group organizes a yearly symposium at Moesgaard Museum in Aarhus, Denmark. In 2023 and 2024, I supported the event organization for the symposium.

Open-access academic infrastructure

Database for CfP Special Issues

The database of calls for papers for special issues published by academic journals was created as an open-access, community-based resource. It was built in Notion, with a submission form that allows others to add new calls. New entries are shared through a dedicated LinkedIn page and Mastodon. The database has been live since August 2022.

Website management

DANWISE

DANWISE is a non-profit organization representing women from academia, industry, and business across STEMM and the humanities. Its work aims to reduce gender gaps by increasing awareness, improving hiring of women in higher academic and industry positions, and supporting policies that improve gender diversity. Since January 2022, I manage the website for the organization.

Representative work, 2022 - 2023

AUPA & PHABUSS

PHABUSS is the faculty-level PhD association at Aarhus BSS, representing PhD students in bodies across Aarhus University, including the faculty-level PhD committee and the university-wide PhD association, AUPA. Between February 2022 and February 2023, I served as Representative for the Department of Management, Chair of PHABUSS, Vice-Chair in the PhD Committee at Aarhus BSS, and board member of AUPA.
